I actually had fun working for the formula one from Friday to Sunday. I worked a total of 30 hours, never late for work and in fact, reached early every single day! (So rare but honestly, it was a great timing for me. Friday, 2pm to 12am. Saturday, 2.30pm to 12.30am. Sunday, 4pm to 2am.)
I didn't used my phone at all while working as they have instructed, I stood the entire time at our busy booth to serve hardcore fans who spend hundreds just for Ferrari's logo until my legs ached so badly, perspired so much that my sweat could possibly filled up an entire fish tank, drank so much water that it became my best friend, ate the same sandwich each day just to save my money from being ripped off by ridiculously high priced food. (Why should I pay $10 for a plate of chicken rice when I have been eating chicken rice free for my entire life?)
And thankfully, although I went to work not knowing anyone (the amount being paid was good so I didn't even hesitate and wanted the job. lol.) but surprisingly, they were nice people and I had a good time working with them. :) Oh except for ONE person and she's like the talk of the booth, majorly annoying and weird.
So, the best thing was we had free Ferrari shirts! Got to hear Backstreet Boys sing and got to see them dance from far but they were so mini that from my point of view, they were only as tall as my little finger. But then again, it's better than nothing. lol.
First day
The booth. Guess what? On the first day, the boss actually fainted. He was sitting on the seat outside the booth and then he suddenly fell sideways and fainted on the plants. I actually saw the entire process and I got a shock. And I thought perhaps red cross, supposingly the first aider would come to the scene and rescue but to my disappointed, although their tent was less than 10 meters away, no first aider came to the scene and only a short lady came and looked, said something and walked away. In the end, the paramedics had to come to the rescue in their ambulance. I honestly don't see the point of having red cross as first aiders if they cannot do anything.
So anyway, our booth seems to be very well liked. Crazy crowds the entire time. Way worst then the crowd you see from the picture below. Most of the time, the place was so packed that we could hardly breathe and it was majorly hot and stuffy.
Oh and this picture is googled from some random person's blog. And at the time when this picture was taken, I was serving the customer wearing the cap. The guy in blue and white strip shirt and white cap and his friends. (The one behind the red guy who is looking at the camera.) I remember because I have a fantastic memory!! lol. But anyway, the customers that I was serving, they actually came all three days to the booth. And in fact, there were many people who came to the booth all 3 days! Crazy fans!! And please, the items weren't cheap. In fact, a ladies tank top cost $65 and the cheapest guy shirt is about $85. And most of my customers spend hundreds.
Oh but on the first day we didn't get our Ferrari shirt because the boss was in charge of the shirts but because he fainted and was sent to the hospital and he didn't came back for work and had to rest.
Second day On the second day, the boss came back to work and we received our Ferrari tops as our uniforms and I choose the normal red one for myself. :) :) :) Oh and Ferrari booth was majorly popular and people just kept snapping pictures of the booth, the items, us and etc. (That's one reason why I can google for images and find images.) lol.
I was serving this lady and when she made her payment, she wanted to take a picture with us. And I was like... -_-" So alright then, I asked people to join me.) Oh btw, there is another person standing beside me but I crop her out. LOL.
See the picture below? The girl in the extreme left beside the girl in black behind? She's the one. lol.
So anyway, the customers were very friendly and they even bluetooth the pictures to us as requested and even helped us take pictures.

After a tiring day at work.
Third day Mom sent me to work on the third day and I went to meet Jessica before heading to the booth. Saw Geraldine and Ezora, they joined us and we then called Shirley as we didn't had passes to enter. So while waiting for Shirley outside the entrance, we say a reporter and a camera man. Guess what? She had notes under her feet. How clever.

It was scorching hot and even before I started work, just walking to the booth, I perspire like an idiot. And I bet I'm two shades darker than usual now. :(
 Walking to our booth.
So anyway, on the third day, I choose a black tank top. I think I look damn fat in it but what the heck.

Oh right, so talk about the black tank top, remember the girl that I cropped out from one of the pictures? WTH. She's majorly annoying really. I asked Jose for the uniform and he said two by two. So Jessica and Shermin were the first to choose their uniform so they went in and choose. Jessica tried on a black tank top and it looks good on her but it was too big for her so she chose another one and that girl (lets call her Y), she saw and shouted she wants the tank. She kept cutting queue and doesn't wait for her turn. What a loser, we already formed pairs queuing to change, so GO QUEUE. So after Jessica and Shermin changed, it was supposed to be Geraldine and I but since Geraldine was serving a customer, Shirley went in and and wore the black tank and she changed so fast even before I went in. lol. So Hweehoon entered with me to choose our tops. Wore a V neck black top but I decided to search and find a tank top too. And I found three so I took all and gave one to Hweehoon and walked to the area to change. The reason I was holding two was actually because I wanted to check the size and all of a sudden, Y came in again and shouted that she wants a tank top so I being very nice, when I heard her shout, I decided to hide the tank top and not give her. LOL. So I hid the extra tank top under a shirt on top of a box. LOL. Why the hell should I give her? Lao Niang don't like her.
Besides it is not her turn so fuck off! Go queue and stop coming in as people are changing. So when we wanted to change she kept coming to us and say she wants the tank. WTF really. You want, you go find yourself. I asked her to queue, she said, why cannot go and find. (WTF. YOU WANT TO FIND, GO AND FIND BITCH, WHY THE HELL MUST WE GIVE YOU WHAT WE FOUND? AND FREAKING HELL GO AND QUEUE.) So after I changed, I went out and took over Geraldine's customer and told her to hurry and change as Hweehoon was still inside and could tell her where I hid the tank top. LOL. So anyway, when Geraldine went in, she just changed and the girl shouted at Geraldine as she didn't even need to dig for a top and just changed immediately. lol. Then she came out and shouted at me. I swear, if it wasn't because of the customers I was serving I would have shouted back at her. See even when I looked so fat in the tank, I didn't even want to give it to her. lol.
And she can even shouted at the boss for writing her work time 3.45pm when she reached at 3.30pm. And her reporting time was supposed to be 4pm. She's ridiculous I tell you, it's not like as if she will get more pay anyway. -_-"
But overall, I think it was a pretty fun experience even with her around. Lol.
